Originally patented in 1914 and designed for timber cruisers and field engineers, the Cruiser’s functionality made it a favourite hunters, woodsmen, and even the U.S. Forest Service. The four front cargo pockets and full-width rear pocket create two layers of warm wool over most of the torso, right where it’s most needed. Handwarmer pockets are hidden behind the lower cargo pockets and a slotted patch over the left chest pocket holds pencils, penlights, or small tools.
The Jacquard Wool is made with an uncommonly tight weave that blocks wind while remaining highly breathable. This construction also provides the durability to last for generations. The wool naturally wicks moisture to the tip of each fibre, enabling it to insulate even when wet. This is why wool has been the fabric of choice for versatile weather protection for centuries.
